At WSOP 2001 finals, the pre flop gave Dewey Tomko the best possible hand as he sat with A A. Mortensen had Marriage, and raised to $100.000, while Tomko called.

The flop came with J
T 3, which gave Mortensen nut straight-draw and a king-high flush draw. Tomko still had his Ace pair and nothing more. Carlos Mortensen decided to bet $100.000, but Tomko confidently raised to $400.000. Then Mortensen tried to bluff and moved all-in.

The turn came with 3
and, unfortunately for Tomko, the river brought 9 to the table, giving Mortensen the nut-straight and the title of 2001 WSOP Champion with $1.500.0000 prize money.
